Fall and trick or treat

We have had fun this fall with jimmy. He loves to play in the leaves. We've had a surprisingly dry fall - up till about 2 days ago - and so I would make big piles for him and his friends to run through. It was a neighborhood hit.

He also loved going trick or treating this year. He really got it. We'd watched "it's the great pumpkin, Charlie Brown" over and over again and talked about trick or treating, so when we went to the first door, he clearly said, "trick or treat" and when he got a candy, he froze in delight and then looked up at me and said, "Mom, they did it! I got a candy"I don't think he really believed that such a wonderful thing could happen. Jon was visiting us, so for the first time, Seth got to come out and trick or treat with us - that was a lot more fun than wrangling him on my own!

What FUN!!!! He and Colby are at such a cute age. They look like they are very hard at work at being boys. It sure is fun to see the picts and the video clips.

I wish I could say that I am surprised that Jimmy was a giraffe! :-) He looks great! The kids are at such a fun age for Halloween. Even Alyssa learned to say a version of trick or treat to get her candy! Thanks for posting!
