Halloween in Ohio

Kaylee was a "Hello Kitty" Princess. Brock was Batman. Trevor was a Jedi Knight and Alyssa was a bat. Heather was the one who stayed at home pass out candy and I took all of the kids out with me. Alyssa quickly got involved once she realized that the kids got candy when they went to the door. She would go to the door and put out her pumpkin and then when someone tried to put something in, she would grab it from their hand and put it in the pumpkin herself. She would then sit in the stroller, ask me to open the candy and she would sit in the stroller eating her candy (missing houses along the way). As soon as her candy was gone she would go up to the next house and the process repeated itself. She loved it! The kids had a good time and we had perfect weather - about 65 degrees. At about half the houses, people were just sitting out side at the end of their drive way handing out candy. By the way - Brock and Kaylee posed themselves for the picture of them together.

Great costumes. There is something magic about Halloween. Who is the great pumpkin carver?

These are really fun photos! We had the temple that night - so the standing jokes was that we were all dressed as angels.

I think your kids costumes were a lot more effective than ours!!!

Loved hearing about Alyssa's eat as you go program.

I carve the pumpkins (but I cheat and use a pumpkin carving kit).

That's not cheating - that's using your resources wisely.
