Summer Swimming
Swimming at Grandma and Grandpa Smythe's house. Jimmy loves the kiddie pool. He crawls in, crawls out, explores the yard a little, plays with a dirt pile - then back to the swimming pool. He likes to play with measuring cups and to dip his face in the water. We are thinking we'll have to get a little pool at our house too.

Let me know if this link works as I've never tried to do this before.
Let me entertain you . . . .
This is our new entertainment center. When we started out (day after Christmas), we just wanted a small one. But they went from small and cheap to big and expensive very fast. We finally found one we liked and ordered it.
After three months, we asked for our money back and went shoping again. We found a place that would sell us just part of an entertainment center, so we got the left tower (the one that's holding the books) and the TV stand.
We thought it would look framing the window. It looked dumb. So we moved the couch to the opposite wall and put the pieces we got on the wall where the couch used to be. Looked much better - but incomplete. So we went and ordered the other tower and the bridge over the top. Then called back and ordered the curved bookcased for the ends.
They came. The bridge was broken, so they left other tower and the book cases. But the book cases were supposed to bolt to the towers so they became one unit and no one could get things to line up properly. So, they ordered 2 new towers and 2 new bookcases, along with a new bridge.
All of the pieces finally came!!!! Whew - took 5 months and we ended up with a much larger entertainment center than we ever dreamed of. Now we are decorating.
Jon brought one of his old computers and we hooked it up to the TV. On the computer, we have DanceMania (computer version of Dance Dance Revolution). I got the pads the other day.

Here's the proof. Now if I can just figure out how to make everything work without making myself look like a fool in front of my children!!!!
