First days of school

Kaylee started school yesterday and Brock started (gasp) Kindergarten today. They are both so excited for school. I just wanted to share a few pictures from the last couple of days.

this is my favorite pic of Alyssa at Yellowstone. I know I am forever late getting this up, life has been really busy here. Not eally an excuse, but our blog is one of the things that got left out. I've been doing some consulting work and try to fit that in when Ji mmy is sleeping. Of course, when he is awake, like now, he freaks out when I'm at the computer and he can't "help" me type. Yesterday we were at the grocery store. He refuses to sit in the child basket - so he sits in the big basket, not so cool. He tries to open containers and sample the food that looks interesting. Yesterday I realized that he was being suspiciously quiet. I looked over and he is chewing green gum! He had it in his mouth and hair and wrapped around his fingers! Only thing is, I hadn't put any gum in the cart... someone else's gum. So gross. I swiped it out of his mouth and onto the counter nearby. I asked a clerk for something to clean it up - I didn't want to leave it there, but I had to get it out of his mouth. Kid's are really gross. Not as bad as our friends. They were at a friends house when thier kid proudly brought over two pinecones he'd found. but there were not pine trees in the yard - just dogs. Like I said - gross. Seth's been away on business so It's been all me and Jimmy for the last couple of days. He's worn me out, so we are looking forward to Seth getting home today.
