Enjoying Jimmy

Jimmy's visit out our home was momentous and unexpectedly long. He got sick - really, really sick. He would point to his tummy and say "oww-ey" then upchuck.

Rachel and Seth didn't think Delta wanted their plane to become another Vomit Comet, so they delayed their departure. Then both Rachel and Seth got sick. Seth was REALLY sick. They were finally able to travel home Thursday morning.

We miss them!! We really got spoiled having them around and being able to do things with them - even if it meant watching "Cars" with Jimmy 4 times a day! (You think I exaggerate? - nope)

9 months and loving life

Alyssa had her 9 month appointment yesterday. She is in the 75% for height and 50% for weight. She is starting to attempt walking and loves to be on her feet. She has taken a total of 8 steps on her own the past week and likes to hold our hands to walk all over the house. She is still a joy to have around. We just love this sweet and happy little angel!

First day of school

Trevor started preschool today. He loves it! Here are a couple of pictures before we left for school. It's make me laugh that he thinks he has to take a backpack. He carried all his stuff in his hands after school, but had his backpack on his back!

Mi Casa!

My apartment! It is alive! But I still have a ways to go. The walls are awfully empty.

Where I will eventually sleep, once I get all the toppings together. I figured I had to have SOME decorations and I ran into that thinking-man statue for real cheap so I snagged it. And I even have art! It belongs up on a wall though.

My current bed. The lighting makes the rug look kinda strange, but it seems to fit the look for the room. I think. I even have my own kitchen table. I've never had one of those before. Of course, for that matter I've never purchased anything else you've seen so far either.

My very own kitchen to keep clean. And yes, I do cook. Sometimes.

My own washer and dryer. All the pieces of cloth you see above are my wash rags. I got a combo pack of like four colors only to find that there were two of each color. As a result, I have a lot of rags.

The entertainment system, powered by the computer over on the right. It is great fun for playing the Wii or dance dance revolution :)

And, of course, a picture of the very thing everyone knows me for. The laptop on the left is my work laptop (with an extra monitor), the dual monitors on the right are my main computer, and the laptop on my right is my personal laptop.

So there you all have it. I'm alive and well out here in San Diego!

Life updated

well, school has started again and these are my books for just this quarter. As of a month ago Matt was 26 inches just to give you an idea of how much reading that really is. Matt is still growing a lot of hair, but it is all in the middle so we thought this was only appropriate. The last picture is of Matt being happy after his second tooth came in.
