Pouring the patio
Also replacing the basement door. The original contractor didn't reinforce it properly and the wall sagged at this spot from the weight of the wall above. Which meant the door wouldn't open because it was stuck in place from the weight. You can see the metal frame that is now supporting the wall so the whole wall won't collapse.
The cement truck parked on the circle behind our house then had this long tube thing that delivered the cement to the patio. It was TALL!!
Here is the end of the pour. The guy in the foreground is our project manager. He is responsible (in a good way) for all off this work. You can see that the roof is partly done. The new steps (redwood) go in soon.
The construction zone
Preparing the patio for the new concrete - the roofers are working on the roof at the same time.
So, it's very "busy" around here.

You can see the new plywood that had to be replaced. Below,
before the new plywood. We had a lot of rotten spots.
We also took the brick off of the garage. A huge crack developed from the ground settling. We dug down the the bottom of the foundation and had an engineer look at it. He felt that it wouldn't sink much more. But we decided to get some weight off of the wall by taking off the brick. We will replace it with siding.
